Our Story

I grew up in Brooklyn, New York.

Like millions of people around the world, where I grew up shaped who I became. Brooklyn wasn’t just a place on a map—it was culture, struggle, pride, family, music, diversity, and identity. It taught me how to move through life and be proud of where I come from.

Years later, after traveling internationally and spending time living in London, England, something became clear.

No matter where people came from—whether it was New York, California, England, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, or a small town few people have heard of, people carried pride for their home.

People talked about their city, their country, their culture, their roots and the streets that raised them.

The food they grew up eating, the music, the history, the traditions and the memories.

I realized something powerful:

The pride I had being from Brooklyn was no different from someone being proud to be from Jamaica… or Puerto Rico… or France… or Egypt… or Cuba… or Italy.

Different places. Different cultures. Same feeling. Pride.

That realization became the beginning of Planet Wearz. Planet Wearz was created because of one simple belief: Everyone deserves to proudly represent where they come from.

Not just with words. But by wearing it. Planet Wearz transforms hometown pride into wearable identity. Connecting cities, states, countries, and cultures through iconic globe-inspired designs featuring real places around the world.

Where you come from, matters. Your hometown matters. Your culture matters. Your story matters.

Over the years, Planet Wearz has traveled to festivals across New York, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. At these festivals something incredible happened. People from different backgrounds would stop… Smile… Point at a design…

Then tell stories about where they came from. Families bought shirts together.

Travelers bought shirts remembering home. Friends bought shirts representing their roots.

Strangers connected over pride. Planet Wearz has sold thousands of tee shirts, but something bigger was happening:

People were finding pieces of themselves in the designs.

Today Planet Wearz is worn in places including: Canada. Jamaica. Costa Rica. Mexico. Japan.

Senegal. And beyond.

Each shirt represents a person. A story. A culture. A memory. A place they’re proud to call home.
